Royal Canin Urinary S/O - complete dietetic feed for adult cats

Urinary S/O is a complete dietetic feed for cats, formulated to dissolve struvite stones and reducing their recurrence through its urine acidifying properties. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use. Feed Urinary S/O for 5 to 12 weeks for the dissolution of struvite stones and up to 6 months for the reduction of struvite stone recurrence. The cat should be re-evaluated regularly by the veterinarian to assess the relevance of a lifelong recommendation. Water should be available at all times.
NOTE: in older cats renal function should be checked before recommending a new diet.

Composition: Poultry by-products, pork by-products, powder cellulose, minerals, pork blood products, vital wheat gluten, starch mixture, fish oil, caramelised sugars, marigold extract (source of lutein).

Additives (per kg) *: Nutritional additives: Vitamin D3: 225IU, E1 (Iron): 3mg, E2 (Iodine): 0.25mg, E4 (Copper): 2mg, E5 (Manganese): 1mg, E6 (Zinc): 10mg, Urine acidifying substances: calcium sulfate: 0.25%. Technological additives: (acidity regulator) sodium bisulfate: 0.5g.

Idiopathic cystitis
High moisture content increases urine dilution.

Helps lower the concentration of ions contributing to crystal formation.

Helps dissolve all types of struvite stones.

Urine dilution makes the urine less liable to form struvite and calcium oxalate stones.
